There will be mild soreness or discomfort after the orthodontic wire is engaged into the newly placed brackets, which may last for a few days to a week. However, we will provide you with painkillers to help relief the pain.
Thorough examination of your mouth, teeth, and jaw will be done and your bite will be assessed. Next, X-rays of your mouth will be taken, and a mould of your teeth will be made.
For our patient’s convenience, payment can be made via one time deposit during the first visit and the balance payment will be divided every month until full amount has been paid.
Appointment will be scheduled monthly for a check-up and review session for the dentist to change wire, ties and assess the progression of the teeth.
Treatment can take anywhere between two to three years in average as it also depends on the type of braces you choose, and what type of procedures need to be done for your case.
As of now, some of our clinics have yet to install an X-ray machine hence the patient will need to get an X-ray from another clinic which may charge from RM200-RM250. Other than that, depending on individual cases, some patient might need to have a tooth/ teeth extracted or filling(s) which will be mentioned during the consultation visit.
